MISSION IMPOSSIBLE TURNED VISION POSSIBLE

Who says you can't make it here in Nigeria? I want to dedicate this page to one of my fellow warriors in the game of success Prince Wale Ibrahim and his crew as they unleash this short film of theirs on an unsuspecting society of ours. This is a celebration of one young man who has defied the odds to come out with a good work of art I know will set the movie industry on fire. Great one Wale this short film of yours will go places and so will you.

8 THINGS TO REMEMBER STEPHEN KESHI FOR

This time a year ago, former Super Eagles chief coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi took a bow of the stage of life yet love or hate him the following things make him unforgettable
1 He died on the same day with another Nigerian maximum ruler, General Sani Abacha and the day is June the 8th. Humorously he met General Sani Abacha in 1994 after Nigeria’s victory at Tunisia in the African Cup of Nations
2 He experienced three African Nations Cup finals, in 1994 as a player and skipper of the Super Eagles, in the year 2000 as an assistant coach to Bonfrere Jo and in 2013 as the coach of the Super Eagles
3 He tasted victory at the African Cup of Nations in 1994 as a player and in 2013 as the coach of the same team, the Super Eagles a record he shares Pharaoh’s former coach Mahmoud El-Gohary
4 He qualified two African countries for the World Cup but only lead one of them. He qualified Togo for Germany 2006 but was sacked after the African Nations Cup in Egypt and qualified his nation for Brazil 2014 where he got to the second round
5 He experienced World Cup as player in USA 94 as a player and in Brazil 2014 as coach of the same team he captained twenty years ago
6 He, Steven Gerard and Steven Appiah are three former football captains that share one thing in common, the name Stephen.
7 He remains Nigeria’s second most capped player with 60 caps
8 He remains Nigeria’s only home based coach to have lifted the African Cup of Nations
The Big Boss maybe dead and gone but his legacy lives on, what other fond memories do you have of him?

3 ZIDANE SUCCESS SECRETS YOU SHOULD USE

Zinedine has made history for Real Madrid in numerous ways, he has won the UEFA Champions League four times, as a player, as an assistant manager to Carlo Ancelotti and twice as a manager of Real Madrid and when I mean twice I mean consecutively. He has also kept Madrid's unbroken record of never losing in a final. The secrets of the successful they say are in their stories and to know the road ahead ask those coming back there are some things that we all can learn from the success of Real Madrid's manager who lead them to their 12th European title.

1 Apprenticeship: There is nothing new under the sun, whatever feat you want to perform has been done by others who we should learn from. Zidane served an apprenticeship under a mentor called Carlo Ancelotti under whose management they were the first European club to clinch ten UEFA Champions League titles called 'La Decima'. To climb the ropes of success you have to learn the ropes for he must stand to lead must sit to learn. Zidane on the way to clinching the title beat his former mentor Carlo Ancelotti who lost to him both home and away as a manager to Bayern Munich

2 Consistency: He was as consistent as manager the same war he was when he was a player and assistant manager. You have to be consistent if you must taste the heights of success for the journey is not a hundred metre dash or hit and run it is a marathon as well as an adventure

3 Cooperation: Zidane had to cooperate both with the players and the staff of Real Madrid, success has never been a solo effort, no one succeeds alone. They say that teamwork makes the dream work, a one man show is a show of arrogance that  ends up in shame. Slow down, gather a team and take them along with you every step of the way. Leading followers is fast and easy and brings little rewards but leading leaders is slow and hard yet has great rewards.

I am sure you have some Zinedine Zidane secrets that you will want to share with others, please feel free for the world is listening
