The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, made history by clinching the cadet trophy for the fifth time, winning two more times than Brazil, they defended their title against their West African neighbours, Mali who are current African Champions, and also made history by being the first African team to successfully defend their title after narrowly losing out to Switzerland on home soil.
    This is also the first time that Nigeria will win the cadet tournament on South American soil after winning the others on Asian soil, China 1985, Japan 1993, South Korea 2007, UAE 2013. Nigeria has proved that they are the undisputed king of the cadet championship. Congratulations lads, we are really proud of you as we sall 'ALL HAIL THE KING OF THE CADETS'
