FROM TEARS TO TRIUMPH

'Daddy why are you crying?' A little boy asked his father who had tears in his eyes
'Brazil has lost the World Cup' his father said
'Don't cry Daddy I promise you that I will one World Cup for you' he promised
That may have sounded like baby talk but the young man went ahead  to win not one but three World Cup trophies for not just his father but for his native country, Brazil. Today he is celebrated as an icon and a role model. His name is Edson Arantes do Nascimento popularly known as Pele or the Black Pearl. Dear friend tears are like the drops of rain in which afterwards the sun comes. Your tears are the beads of hope for a better tomorrow like Charles Darrow who became a million dollars richer after he sold the game of MONOPOLY which was a result of his tears. So smile through your tears for great is your tomorrow.

AGAINST ALL ODDS

W
When hip hop musician Aaliyah of blessed memory sang that age ain't nothing but a number, she knew what she was singing about. At a point where some football players believed they had reached their peak, Roger Milla showed the world at 38 he was just getting started. He twice was recognized at the World Cup for not just being the oldest player but the oldest player to score five goals at two World Cup tournaments, leave a lasting legacy which made everyone as an African raise their heads high. When the world set a barrier, he broke it so friend break whatever people may think is a barrier and soar to heights just like Roger did.

THINK BIG

RULE YOUR WORLD

BE A WORLD CHANGER

BREAK EVERY BARRIER

RESPECT NO LIMITS WHEN IT COMES TO SUCCESS

MOVE THROUGH THE STORMS

THE STORM IS FINALLY OVER SO SMILE THROUGH THE SUNSHINE

RISE UP

You are not a failure if you fall down but you become a failure if you refuse to get up insisting someone pushed you

V IS FOR VICTORY

DON'T BEAR WITH BRONZE OR SETTLE FOR SILVER, GO FOR GOLD.

REJECT THE NEGATIVE LABELS

As a child, Jean Claude Van Damme was labelled a skinny weakling but years later down the line he was called 'The Muscles of Brussels'. Dr. Myles Munroe was labelled a half-bred monkey by his teacher years later the teacher was on a queue to have his copy of Dr. Munroe's books autographed. Kelechi Iheanacho was considered too skinny to play football but the skinny young man not only won the Golden Ball and Silver Boot of the U-17 World Cup, he created a new way of celebrating. The stories are endless of people who went beyond the negative labels placed on them by others. A wise man said, 'Never allow people build your world for they will always build it too small'. Pay no attention to the naysayers because they are only looking for a way to look over your head and tell you, 'I knew you would never make it'. Please don't give them that thrill of victory. You are unique, you are one of a kind an original that has no duplicate. Go out and live all you can be the life the Almighty has ordained you to live and don't settle for less. Whoever says anything untrue about you is simply expressing an opinion which he or she is entitled to but which never counts.
Yours is the next success story of moving beyond the negative label placed on you by some ignorant persons. Reach for the stars for the sky is no longer the limit.

TAKE THE RISK

In life we need to take risks to succeed for the worst risk is not to take risks at all.
