BE A NEGATIVE OPTIMIST

Now before you eat me up, I want you to ponder on what I am about to share with you. When I mean be a negative optimist, I don't mean be negative about any positive opportunity that you see rather I would want you to build castles in the sky whose foundations are on the earth, in other words I want you to be a realist. Every dream is conceivable but not all dreams are actually achievable because they are not rooted in fact filled findings.
The Wright Brothers who created the first aeroplane were bicycle mechanics but had to do some research in aerodynamics, Isaac Newton after being hit on the head by an apple did rigorous research on why the apple fell down and not sideways thereby coming out with the law of gravity. This blog is an idea I had but I had to do my homework to make sure I was being realistic and not just idealistic.
It is not enough to dream sometimes you have to put your dream to 'the test' and I mean pondering what would happen if it did not work out. One of my favourite books is titled the 5Oth Law by Robert Greene and 50 Cent and the first chapter of the book is 'Intense Realism- Seeing things for what they are'
John Fitzgerald Kennedy may have birthed the idea of putting a man in the moon but NASA had to do the calculations of how that dream would be and imagining the likely obstacles that might come up.
Friends you have great dreams, dreams that will bless the world but for them to stand the test of time you need to be realistic about their fulfillment. An inventor, Franz Reichelt made a mistake of taking his idealism too f ar by testing his newly made parachute by jumping off the Eiffel Tower dying instantly. There you have it, the next time you have an idea, test and test it again and I know it will be the next breakthrough
