AGAINST ALL ODDS
When hip hop musician Aaliyah of blessed memory sang that age ain't nothing but a number, she knew what she was singing about. At a point where some football players believed they had reached their peak, Roger Milla showed the world at 38 he was just getting started. He twice was recognized at the World Cup for not just being the oldest player but the oldest player to score five goals at two World Cup tournaments, leave a lasting legacy which made everyone as an African raise their heads high. When the world set a barrier, he broke it so friend break whatever people may think is a barrier and soar to heights just like Roger did.
