6 THINGS BILLIONAIRES DO DIFFERENTLY

Billionaires are a rare breed of people ( I being one of them) displaying talents others could only dream of but as they say the secrets of the successful are in their stories. Here are six things that billionaires do differently

1 They are time conscious set of people and when I mean time conscious I don't mean people who hurry and rush and still try to figure out where time has gone. They don't spend time, they invest it in productive engagements, they keep to time when given appointments or when they give out appointments. A wise man said' Your respect for time will determine to a great extent your financial destiny. Also, the rich spend money to save time while the poor squander time trying to save money.

2 They are never afraid of failing forward, Donald Trump was one billion dollars in debt yet was still making out projects. Billionaires see failing in a different light, they see it as a learning experience where they learn what to do, what not to do and how to do things better.

3 They are passionate people filled with a burning desire to do what is in their hearts to do. They wake up every morning with determination and they go to bed with satisfaction. Sir Henry Royce could not take good as good enough neither will Soichiro Honda accept a flaw in a Honda car because these and more people are passionate about their work.

4 They either create new things or do common things in an uncommon way. Ray Kroc was not the founder of McDonalds yet he did in an uncommon way what the original owners were doing commonly while on the other hand Mark Zuckerberg created a social media platform with over a billion users with the aim of connecting people. Billionaires either make things better or make better things

5 Billionaires are givers. True billionaires know that giving is the source of living, John D. Rockefeller while on his deathbed began giving his way his money in which a portion of the money went to an orphanage filled with hungry orphans, this act alone elongated his life by 41 years with a foundation in his name. Billionaires don't hoard they give examples are people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and others who give to charity

6 Billionaires don't take life too seriously. Billionaires are humans who live life one day at a time. Billionaires like Sir Richard Branson love life and they enjoy it to the full with people they love and cherish enjoying the best gifts of life like the rising of the sun, waterfalls, birds and people moving here and there. Life is a journey meant to be enjoyed and not endured.

3 THINGS TO LEARN FROM FRANZ REICHELT

There is a popular saying that there are two ways to learn from our mistakes and the mistakes of others since we won't live long enough to make all the mistakes that we may never learn from, it is wisest to learn from the mistakes of others. Here are then things to learn from the mistakes of Franz Reichelt who took his own life with his own hands.

1 Franz never consulted with other minds about his idea.
2 He ignored the voices of reason around him warning of the impending danger that was ahead of him.
3 He chose to use himself to test his parachute

FRANZ'S FALL

WHEN AMBITION GOES CRAZY

Ambition can be such a wonderful thing but then anything that has an upside also has an ugly downside, that was the case of Austrian born french tailor. Franz Reichelt who prided himself as the 'The Flying Tailor' who defied all warnings and pleadings to use a dummy to test his parachute, actually he did use a dummy, he used himself and after announcing to the press of his daredevil act, he arrogantly told his critics, 'You are going to see how my seventy-two kilos and my parachute will give your arguments the most decisive of denials'. Eventually he jumps from the 187 ft tool Eiffel Tower crushing his right arm and leg, breaking his skull and spine bleeding from nose, mouth and ears. The cheers of joy turned to screams of horror as he was rushed to the Necker Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The lesson here is that when building castles in the sky let the foundations be on the earth or before getting your head caught in the clouds make sure your feet are solidly on the ground.

THE FIRST TIMERS WHO BECAME OVERCOMERS

It was one of the biggest upsets in years as first timers beat five time world champs Brazil to the coveted title. Much like the David versus Goliath which David went away smiling leaving Brazil wondering what hit them. Serbia's victory goes a long way to prove that 'MISSION IMPOSSIBLE' can become 'VISION POSSIBLE' as the newcomers eventually became over comers brushing past the likes of Brazil and Argentina to win the U-20 title

THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FA TEAM

FROM UNDER ACHIEVERS TO HIGHFLIERS

There is a saying which goes thus, 'Top cats usually begin as underdogs' that was the case of Arsenal FC. who became the most successful club in the history of the FA Cup beating the likes of Manchester United who have won 11 titles and Tottenham on eight with fellow North Londoners Chelsea FC on seven titles. On the average Arsenal has participated in 19 FA Cup finals finishing runners up on seven different occasions. The club had long been criticized for trophy drought that spanned eight years until last year when they won the FA Cup and Community Shield proving another saying that 'The longer victory takes the sweeter it tastes.
